Private Lessons

30 Minute Lesson

30 minute lessons are great for beginning students to get a taste for the process of lessons, practicing, and independent skill development. Lessons generally consist of approximately 50% warm-up and technique, and 50% repertoire.

45 Minute Lesson

45 minute lessons serve as both a bridge up to 60 minute lessons and as a way for serious 60 minute students to dial back a bit when other life events get busy. Lessons generally consist of approximately 33% warm-up and technique, and 67% repertoire.

60 Minute Lesson

60 minute lessons are the standard for students looking to maximize progress on their vocal journey. High school students preparing for shows, auditions, or All-State should be seriously considering 60 minute lessons. Lessons generally consist of approximately 25% warm-up and technique, and 75% repertoire.

Group Instruction

The services below are available to junior high, high school, and collegiate ensembles, as well as community musical organizations.

Sectional

A sectional rehearsal might be exactly what your choir needs. I can give targeted technical advice to a small group of students to fine-tune their performance on specific repertoire, boosting confidence and community among your musicians. This is a tremendous benefit to choirs preparing for competition.

Masterclass

A masterclass is an excellent way to highlight the progress of your students while letting the entire class or ensemble benefit from the instructional process. I’ll work individually with a handful of students in front of their peers, helping to hone their performance into something remarkable. This can be great leading up to solo and ensemble or college audition season!

Speaking

I’ve worked in many corners of the music industry and it’s a personal priority that students understand that there are more jobs than just rock star and teacher. From recording choirs to musicians union negotiations and everything in between, I’ve worn a ton of hats and would love to share my experiences in a Q&A forum.
