You can now learn to sing online, without leaving the comfort of your own home.
Online lessons are a great alternative to traditional, in-person private instruction. Whether you’re a local who can’t justify the time in traffic or an out-of-towner looking for a quality voice teacher, online lessons give you the option of private instruction no matter where you are.
How does it work?
When you book an online lesson, you receive a link to my private Zoom room. When you join the meeting, we work on some warm-up exercises, build some technical skill, and you sing through your music - just like an in-person lesson!
Equipment Check
We can have an online lesson with as little equipment as your smart phone, but students get more out of the process with a little bit of a tech upgrade. Here’s what makes the biggest difference:
An external microphone
Good speakers or headphones
A wired internet connection
Separate devices for connecting to the call and reading music.
Some source of accompaniment on your end
Some of these are for better sound quality for both of us. Some of them are to reduce network latency (or lag) in the call. If you have questions about equipment, feel free to schedule a free consultation with me before booking!
